About

Wuju.gg is a curated ranking of League of Legends solo queue games that are worth watching. Pick a champion and a role, and get up to ten of the most competitive Diamond+ ranked games carried by that pick during the current patch.

Wuju Points (WP)

Every player in every Diamond+ game receives WP from 0–100. WP are derived from a variety of factors to determine if the game itself was competitive, and how much a player contributed to the win.

Hard Fought

Games that are competitive stay contested. Small gold swings, multiple lead changes. These score higher WP than blowouts.

Solo Carry

How much the player drove the win. Damage share, kill participation, gold and CS per minute, solo kills, objective participation are all considered. Each is weighted differently per role and calculated based on games on that same champion and role.

Player Rank

Winning higher average rank/lp games slightly boosts overall WP, tiebreaking evenly scored matches at challenger vs grandmaster, etc.

TLDR

WP = competitiveness + carry + rank, scaled to 100. The top ten scores per champion and role are what you see, capped at two games per player so one grinder can't fill an entire list.

Replays

Every replayable game has a Watch button. It downloads a small .bat file. Run it and it asks the League of Legends client on your own PC to download and play the replay. It contacts no other server, installs nothing, and never sees your Riot password.

Your browser will warn you about the download anyway. Browsers flag every .bat type file, regardless of what's in it.

You need the League of Legends client running and logged in on an account in the replay's region. Riot only serves replays for the current patch. Once a new patch ships, older games stop being downloadable so saving the .bat beyond a patch won't allow you to watch the replay past the patch it was created for.

Regions

Rankings are scoped to one server region at a time. Pick yours in the header. That isn't a filter for convenience; a replay can only be downloaded by a client on the same region as the game, so a global leaderboard would list games you can't watch. Regions with nothing published yet aren't offered at all, and your choice is remembered in your browser.

Because every patch resets what the client can download, a region's lists start short after each patch and fill up over the following days. They're never padded with worse games to reach ten.

Data source

Every game comes from Riot's official match and league APIs, restricted to Diamond+ ranked solo queue. Finished games are scored automatically and the best ones are ranked. Pages refresh every few minutes.
